Design Environmental offers calibration traceable to UKAS on all makes of climatic test chambers.

Signed certificates of conformance are issued with every calibration and a label affixed to the equipment showing the date and time of the next visit is required.

Calibration can be carried out as part of a preventative-maintenance contract or as a separate activity.

Temperature equipment includes a platinum resistance thermometer PT100 or type K thermocouples and a high-quality, digital, multi-channel data logger.

Humidity equipment includes a solid-state, hand-held, capacitive sensor and a high-quality, digital, multi-channel data logger.

Calibrated Humitrace pots can also be used.

Air-velocity equipment includes a hand-held hot-wire anemometer.

Light and solar-radiation equipment includes a hand-held digital light meter and GSI dome solarimeter in accordance with ISO 9060.

Pressure equipment includes 4in absolute pressure gauges.

Because any calibration is only valid at the point where the measurement was taken, multiple levels are offered as an option.

Four levels of temperature and humidity are most commonly employed and spread across the range of the chamber.

Multi-point calibration is also offered to establish the distribution of temperature and humidity within the chamber.

Nine points are most widely used for this purpose.
