At Nuremberg tradeshow Sensor and Test, held 7 and 9 June 2011, Mazet will present the latest colour and spectrum sensor application-specific developments of the Jencolor product range.

Products demonstrated at booth 322 in hall 12 will include the Truecolormeter colorstriker from Mathai, for which Mazet supplies the complete hardware, as well as the prototype of a portable fluidic testing environment developed by Mazet in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Jena.

Another product on show will be high-resolution evaluation kits, designed to provide the customer with quick access to simple colour and spectrum measurement tasks.

The Truecolormeter colorstriker is suitable for a variety of colour measurement applications.

It can be used for packaging and industrial design, architecture, colours and varnishes, specialised trade, building markets, automotive suppliers and the automotive industry.

The device records the colour value and transmits it wirelessly to a PC, where the data is visualised and evaluated.

Mazet developed the prototype of a microfluidic testing environment in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Jena’s Faculty of Medical Technology and Biotechnology.

A PC-based user interface controls the measuring procedure.

The testing environment allows the customer to determine how suitable the Jencolor sensors are for the intended application, within a short period of time.

Due to the modular design, the testing environment offers flexibility for adaptation to different measuring applications.

Besides the Jencolor products, Mazet offers its customers comprehensive support throughout the entire product lifecycle of customised color and spectrum sensor solutions.

It covers the development of special opto-ASICs or the complete device electronics, the serial supply and after-sales support.
