Bosch Rexroth has launched the TS 5, a heavy-duty, modular conveyor system designed for the transport of workpieces with loads of up to 300kg/m.

The TS 5 features a novel line-shaft design, robust support system, intelligent routing options and maintenance-free operation.

The conveyors feature an energy efficient drive system.

The ‘line shaft’ (also known as ‘king shaft’) powered roller design is maintenance-free, so requires no intervals for lubrication and exchanges, resulting in greater uptime.

Another feature of the Rexroth TS 5 transfer system is that it can be configured to transport products on a workpiece pallet or directly on a continuous roller track, and is available in three standard widths.

Production-line engineers can plan and implement a Rexroth TS 5 transfer system matched to the individual requirements of their application; this is enabled by the company’s selection of standardised conveyor system components.

Curves, diverters and junctions are available as separate, self-contained units that allow the engineer to achieve a variety of conveyor system layouts both quickly and easily.

Furthermore, since the rollers are permanently driven within the routing areas, there are no issues arising from product accumulation.

All components – drive modules, workpiece pallets, roller sections, curves, diverters, positioning units and components for traffic control – come pre-assembled and can be combined using a single interface.

Rexroth’s MTpro software program – a planning tool that contains 3D drawings of all TS 5 components in common formats – eases system configuration, and automatically generates a parts list.
