Cosel has developed the DHS series of DCDC modules in response to an industry demand for increased density and greater miniaturisation.

The range includes 50W and 100W models (which will be launched in June 2009) and a 250W model (to be released in September 2009).

The optimised design by an electromagnetic field simulator and the company’s proprietary digital assist control microcontroller have allowed Cosel to create some of the smallest modules in this class, according to Matthew Paines, sales manager at Cosel UK.

The modules come in telecommunication standard brick size and include input-level remote control, an output-voltage adjustment terminal and output-voltage sensing (DHS250B).

The range features an input range of 200VDC to 400VDC and output-voltage variations from 3.3VDC to 48VDC across all 20 options.

The modules come with safety approvals and a five-year warranty.
