DEK is to showcase its range of technologies, including the Vectorguard stencil system, at Southern Electronics 2009 on 11-12 February at FIVE in Farnborough, UK.

Vectorguard is a frameless stencil technology that delivers simple and automatic tensioning to prioritise operator safety, system rigidity and ease-of-use for ongoing print process optimisation.

In addition to the original stainless steel laser-cut Vectorguard Blue, DEK will showcase its laser-cut nickel Vectorguard Silver and electroformed nickel Vectorguard Gold stencils – each utilising the printability advantages of nickel to enhance paste release and end-of-line yield for a range of applications.

DEK’s range of process improvement products – quality consumables to complement the printer and printing process to boost throughput and yield, reduce the risk of defects and minimise the requirement for reworks – will also be on show at Southern Manufacturing.

This includes technologies such as understencil cleaning rolls, understencil cleaning agents and pre-saturated wipes.

Also on show will be the company’s productivity-boosting HD Grid-Lok technology, a flexible, high-density tooling system designed to support an entire PCB assembly without the need for manual intervention.

Delivering complete support for every board, HD Grid-Lok can be reset in seconds to handle virtually any component height, making it ideal for high-changeover manufacturing environments.
