Delcam CRISPIN has announced a global footwear design competition for footwear design students, independent designers and footwear professionals. The winner will have his or her design 3D printed and displayed on the company’s stand at SIMAC in February 2015.

The first prize is a trip to Milan for the SIMAC exhibition, with all flights and accommodation paid for. In addition, the winning design (and that of two runners-up) will be produced as 3D models by 3D printing and displayed on the Delcam CRISPIN stand at SIMAC.

The three designs will also be featured on 3DSHOES, an e-commerce platform exclusively for 3D printed, knitted and sintered shoes.

Other competition partners include Synergeering Group, a supplier of functional 3D printed parts.
