Mouser Electronics is now stocking the 32F769IDISCOVERY Discovery Kit from STMicroelectronics (ST), which provides a development platform for the STM32F7 series of high-performance microcontrollers. This new development tool includes an onboard 4in QWVGA 800×400 MIPI-DSI display with a capacitive touchscreen, and takes advantage of the STM32CubeMX initialisation tool, STM32CubeF7 embedded software package, and a full set of demo software libraries for reduced development efforts, time, and cost.

ST’s 32F769IDISCOVERY Discovery Kit is a starting point for both beginners and experienced developers to start developing applications for the STM32F7 microcontroller series. The board includes an STM32F769NIH6 microcontroller, which features a 216MHz/462DMIPS/1082 CoreMark ARM Cortex-M7 core, 2MBytes of flash, 512+16+4KBytes of RAM, ST’s Chrom-ART Accelerator for high-performance graphics, support for USB 2.0 with OTG, Ethernet, and three 12‑bit analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs). With these features, as well as an L1 cache, ST STM32F7 devices deliver the maximum theoretical performance of the ARM Cortex‑M7, whether code is executed from embedded flash or external memory.

The full range of hardware features on the board include Arduino Uno Rev 3 connectors, MEMS digital microphones, and SPDIF RCA input. The board also features two micro-USB jacks, MicroSD card connector, RJ45 connector, and 3.5mm audio input and output. The integrated ST-LINK/V2-1 via mini-USB connector provides an embedded in-circuit debugger and programmer for the STM32F7 microcontroller.
