At Pro2Pac 2011, Secomak will demonstrate Dryguide, a stable guidance system that employs a high-velocity collision of airflow to remove moisture and ensure that food packaging remains dry.

Machine settings are not prone to being knocked out of adjustment and are simple to reset to different sizes if containers.

The result is optimal removal of water from container surfaces, even in the toughest drying conditions, such as large PET bottles at high speed.

Secomak will also be showcasing a prototype pouch drying system, which the company states is the first of its kind and promises to deliver a total drying solution when it comes to market in mid-2011.

This system provides a solution for drying problems encountered with wet food pouches during batch production.

Food packaging must be dry when entering a marking or a sleeve applicator, as moisture that is still present during the process of final packaging will cause cardboard boxes to degrade in storage.
