Euroquartz has introduced a range of 3.2mm x 2.5mm surface-mount HCMOS Xpresso oscillators that are available on a three-week lead time for production quantities.

With a frequency range from 0.75MHz to 250MHz and industry-standard footprint and pin-out, the FXO-HC32 series 3.3V Xpresso oscillators from Fox Electronics are suitable for a variety of applications that require low phase jitter (typically less than 1ps) in a compact package.

These include microprocessor, DSP, FPGA, Sonet and Ethernet environments as well as industrial controllers, test and measurement equipment and storage area networks.

The RoHS-compliant oscillators are available in +/-50ppm and +/-100ppm stabilities with an operating temperature range from -20C to +70C and feature a gold-over-nickel termination finish.

Application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) incorporated into the oscillators enable accurate performance, lower cost and increased flexibility, according to Euroquartz.

The Xpresso oscillators offer noise levels comparable to bulk quartz and SAW oscillators by employing third-order DSM noise-reducing technology and a low-noise architecture.

As with all Xpresso oscillators, the series features Fox’s internal serial ID for quality control and traceability of each individual part throughout the entire manufacturing process.

The FXO-HC32 series complements the existing range of Xpresso configurable oscillators that includes HCMOS, LVDS and LVPECL devices for both XO and VCXO in 7mm x 5mm and 5mm x 3.2mm ceramic packages.
