Taiwan Commate Computer (Commell) has introduced the PCI-bus half-size CPU card HS-771.

HS-771 incorporates an Intel Socket P pin-out compatible with Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Penryn or Core 2 Extreme processors at FSB 667/800/1066 MHz, which supports T8100, T8300, T9300, T9400, T9500, X9100, X9000 and Mobile Celeron 578,575.

The HS-771 is validated with the Mobile GM45 Express chipset, providing excellent flexibility for developers of embedded applications by offering outstanding graphics, memory and I/O bandwidth, asset management capabilities, storage speed and reliability.

Applications include network appliances, gaming platforms and industrial automation equipment.

HS-771 is suitable for applications placed in limited-space control systems.

HS-771 integrates Mobile Intel Graphics Accelerator 4500MHD, Intel Clear Video Technology and graphics core speeds up to 533MHz, offering enhanced graphics and 3D rendering performance and conferring high-definition video playback.

It also supports numerous displays, including VGA, DVI, LVDS and HDTV.

The HS-771 CPU Card supports DDR3 SDRAM up to 4GB and comes with PS/2 keyboard and mouse, one RS232C and one RS232/422/485, two Intel 82574L Giga LANs, eight USB2.0 ports, Realtek ALC888 HD audio, four SATA interfaces and expansion slots with one Mini PCI and one PCI express Mini card.

It provides four PCI bus masters to support backplane add-in cards.

The HS-771 also features: Intel GM45 and ICH9M chipset; Intel integrated extreme GMA 4500MHD VGA interface; an onboard 24-bit dual channel LVDS with +3.3V/5V/12V supply; supports for four SATA interfaces with 300MB/s transfer rate; one DB15 VGA port, HDTV, one DVI-I port, one LCD inverter; an onboard programmable 8bit digital I/O interface; and a 256-level watchdog timer.

Commell also offers XP embedded OS for system integrators.
