Flir Systems has introduced the T640 fully automatic thermal imaging camera featuring Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging technology (MSX), which takes detail from the visual image to improve the clarity of the thermal image.

The T640 also features user-selectable, continuous autofocus facilitated by dual 5-megapixel visual cameras, which can be applied to steadily moving targets and through all interchangeable lenses (excluding the macro).

Additional features include matching field of view, the ability to add unlimited sketch annotations to the image via touch screen, and a compass that complements built-in GPS.
