Flow Line Options has launched universal process displays that advance in-process monitoring by providing users with monitoring devices incorporating Ethernet communication capabilities.

Two new products – Digacom and Digatouch – feature Digalink, a PC software interface that allows users to connect and virtually monitor process applications worldwide.

Digalink safely delivers real-time information through a secure industrial communication protocol with military encryption (Modbus).

The new software provides a tool for data logging and monitoring critical system levels from remote locations.

‘Digacom and Digatouch universal process displays allow users to truly plug and play devices on their network via either Ethernet connection or RS-485,’ said Raymond Nichols, product manager for Flow Line Options.

According to Nichols, Digalink includes real-time monitoring, data logging and export to Excel features.

Digacom is a field-mount process display that features four-digit super-bright light-emitting-diode (LED) indication, Modbus RS485, industrial Ethernet, digital pushbutton configuration, analogue input with a transmitter VDC power supply and a universal 90-265VAC or 12-28VDC supply voltage.

Digatouch – offered as a digital panel meter or a field-mount display – features a touch-screen interface, six-digit super-bright LED indication, Modbus RS485, industrial Ethernet and advanced plug-and-play capabilities.

This product also features a design that includes dual AC/DC supply voltage, universal input/output and isolated 4-20mA output.

Flow Line Options is expected to release Exmod, an expansion module that will optimise the basic functions of Digatouch.

The Exmod expansion module is expected to be available for shipment by the beginning of autumn 2010.
