Fluke has introduced two new models, the Fluke 190-204 and the Fluke 190-104, to its range of rugged, handheld portable oscilloscopes suitable for safe maintenance of industrial electrical equipment.

The new Fluke 190 Series II Colour Scopemeter offers four channels, designed for industrial maintenance including professional servicing, installing and maintaining heavy duty electrical equipment, electro-mechanical machinery and plant-automation control systems.

They are IEC 61010, 1,000V CAT III / 600V CAT IV-rated portable oscilloscopes designed to be safely used on industrial equipment that is permanently installed on an electrical distribution system.

The Fluke 190-204 offers a bandwidth up to 200MHz, while the Fluke 190-104 offers up to 100MHz.

The four isolated floating channels on either Scopemeter enable safe differential or floating measurements on multiple signals simultaneously, as well as viewing and measurement of waveform amplitude, shape and timing differences between signals or four test points.

The Connectandview triggering feature offers hands-free operation, providing an immediate, stable display for capturing and displaying complex waveforms for finding faults rapidly.

The Trendplot recording function helps uncover long-term trends and shows changes in any of the measurable parameters, like the rise-time of a signal.

Frequency Spectrum Analysis using FFT helps to identify individual frequency components contained in a signal.

The Scoperecord function allows waveform recordings to be made over an extended period of up to 48 hours.

A replay function enables the user to take a closer look at any anomaly seen flashing by on the screen, by replaying the last sequence of 100 screen images.

Suitable for use in harsh environments, the Fluke Series’ sealed casing is IP51 rated and the high-capacity Li-ion rechargeable battery is designed for operation for up to seven hours with easy access for battery switching to extend operating time.

Fluke Calibration

Fluke Corporation was founded in 1948, specialising in electrical test and measurement products. Early in its history, Fluke recognised that the very best electrical metrology would be needed to support its products and undertook to develop this capability. From this activity, the calibration business was born. Over the years, many breakthrough calibration products were introduced, establishing Fluke as a leader in electrical metrology.

In 2000, Fluke acquired Wavetek Precision Measurement. In 2001, Fluke’s calibration business expanded into the temperature field with the acquisition of Hart Scientific and then into pressure and gas flow with the acquisition of DH Instruments (2007), followed by Ruska and Pressurements (2010).

The unified business’s unmatched breadth and depth in metrology puts Fluke Calibration in a unique position to deliver today’s and tomorrow’s calibrations solutions to customers who demand the very best, supported by an organisation they can count on for the long term.
