The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) is a professional membership body that exists to advance education and knowledge of the practice of quality within industry, commerce, and the public as well as voluntary sectors. The CQI has a professional membership of more than 10,000 individuals and its courses and qualifications provide the industry standard for quality professionals, training in the region of 1,000 of these quality professionals every year.

The CQI is focused on expanding the reach of quality by bringing about awareness specifically within the sector of defence, a sector in which quality is an integral component of all practice.
