The Delta H range from Design Environmental offers versatile floor-standing temperature and humidity test chambers that are suitable for larger test pieces.

They are available with five internal volumes from 190 litres to 1,550 litres, along with custom options to meet specific requirements.

The external bodywork is a single-shell construction in zinc-coated steel, with a powder-paint finish in toning colours.

The test chamber comprises an all-welded, watertight stainless steel inner liner with a number of shelf supports built into the side walls allowing shelving to be adjustable in the height of the chamber.

A silicone gasket provides an effective seal between the chamber liner and door.

Minimum heat loss is achieved by compacted mineral wall insulation within the chamber wall cavity.

All Delta chambers feature one 50mm dia port in the left-hand wall and one 125mm dia port in the right-hand wall.

One or two axial fans (subject to model) re-circulate air within the chamber work space providing temperature uniformity and stability.

Full access to the chamber is provided by a left-hand hinged door.

The door-catch mechanism ensures an even pressure is maintained on the door seal while still conforming to all EC safety legislation.

Humidity is generated by water evaporation in a separate compartment located at the rear of the working chamber ensuring excellent uniformity and stability in the chamber work space.

A low-maintenance, reliable, solid-state capacitance sensor measures the humidity level in the working chamber.
