Micro-Epsilon has introduced the OptoNCDT1402SC IP69K-protected series of laser sensors designed for measuring displacement, distance and position in applications in harsh process conditions such as those found in the food and beverage industry.

The sensors are available in eight models with measuring ranges from 5mm up to 600mm. A stainless steel enclosure provides IP69K protection — the sensor is resistant to high-pressure jet washing as well as aggressive cleaning chemicals, detergents and disinfectants.

The sensors are suitable for fast, inline production systems, food and beverage processing, assembly and quality inspection tasks.
