ITC will be showing a variety of new tooling solutions for the first time at Mach 2010, including its 1031 and 1032 Cyber Series drills for machining accurate holes.

The solid-carbide series of drills has a short flute length and exceptional rigidity that the company claims guarantees hole accuracy beyond competitor products.

The high-performance 1031 and 1032 Cyber Series both have a 3XD effective drill length, with an Altin coating for increased productivity and tool life.

The drill series are identical, except for the through coolant facility in the 1032 Cyber Series that incorporates internally twisted holes to direct coolant directly to the cutting edge.

The series are available from 3 to 12mm in 0.1mm increments and from 12 to 20mm diameter in 0.5mm increments.

Alongside the 1031 and 1032 will be the 1052 Series, with a 5XD effective drill length for producing deep holes in components.

ITC has also launched its 4111 Cyber Series of back chamfering and countersinking tools.

The 4111 Series has been developed to conduct front and back chamfering or circular interpolation countersinking of holes and slots in a variety of materials.

The four-flute tools extend tool life due to the ultra-wear-resistant micro-grain carbide composition.

The 4111 Series incorporates a staggered tooth design and 90deg inclusive angle that leads to smooth cutting and improved surface finishes, while the rigid design further enhances finishes and tool life.

The series is available in 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12mm diameters, with a 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9mm respective cut length.

The company has also launched its 2141 Cyber Series range of two-flute drill-mill cutters.

With a 90deg included angle, the product range can comfortably conduct drilling, milling, spotting, countersinking and chamfering operations.

With a 90deg drill point end, the 2141 Series can be applied to a range of applications.

This capability range enables end users to use one cutting tool for a variety of tasks, as opposed to using numerous tools.

This not only reduces tooling inventory and costs but reduces cycle times.

For customers utilising highly productive machine tools with multiple tool positions, the 2141 Series can reduce the need for drills, milling cutters and chamfering tools by conducting all operations with one tool.

This reduces tool changeovers and setup times for the end user.

The series is available in 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 20mm diameters, with an identical shank diameter for each cutter.

ITC will also be launching a catalogue with a range of Hanita and Rubig drilling products at Mach.
