ITC has introduced a range of GTD tapping products designed solely for the threading of components manufactured from stainless steel.

The GTD2001 and GTD2005 series of taps are suitable for the threading of through-holes in steel and stainless steel. The taps are manufactured from a HSSE-PM material that is TiCN coated to improve life and performance.

The GTD2005 range is particularly suitable for the threading of difficult-to-machine 300 series stainless steels.

The GTD2003 and GTD2007 taps are designed for the threading of blind holes in stainless steel.

The company is also offering the solid-carbide VDS drilling range designed to offer a suitable environment for high-quality and extremely accurate tapping.
