Kistler will launch several technologies for assembly automation and manufacturing process monitoring at the Assembly and Automation Technology Expo in Chicago on 20–22 September 2011.

The company will display technologies including process data collectors, high-precision electromechanical joining modules, a closed-loop monitoring system for servo press manufacturing and a range of new pressure, force, acceleration and torque sensing systems.

  • Type 5630M high-performance process data collectors — designed to give manufacturers and OEM machine builders enhanced manufacturing data storage, process visualisation and long-term analysis capabilities
  • DMF-P A310 Universal Type 4740A high-precision force-displacement measurement system — suitable for monitoring electromechanical NC joining modules and their associated joining and pressing-in operations within assembly automation and other industrial process monitoring applications
  • Type 2151B NC electromechanical joining modules with hollow shaft motor — designed for high-precision joining and pressing-in monitoring operations within assembly automation and industrial process monitoring environments, offering direct compatibility with the Type 4740A
  • Como Datacenter Type 2829B software — designed for use with the Kistler Como injection system in support of zero-defect plastics injection moulding manufacturing objectives
  • Type 6184A miniature quartz mould cavity pressure sensors — suitable for high-precision pressure measurement applications within height- and width-constrained, multi-cavity injection moulding environments
  • Type 6190 high-precision transducer — designed to offer combined cavity pressure and contact temperature measurements during industrial thermoplastic and elastomeric injection moulding operations
