Fanuc’s Linear range comprises eight precision lathes covering CNC and conventional turning operations.

The CT600CNC is a Fanuc-controlled high-precision lathe utilising a 5C collet spindle and gang tooling for speed and accuracy.

The CHR68e is a dedicated high-accuracy turret lathe.

In either chucking or collet format, the 5C spindle ensures circular accuracy to 0.00125mm.

Imperial and metric thread forms are easily catered for with the machine’s digital threading control, which incorporates two-axis digital read out.

This feature allows the operator to simply enter the tread pitch on screen, instead of complicated and expensive followers and chasers.

For less complicated work – and suited to toolroom applications – the CT27EVS is a manual capstan lathe with a lever-operated six-station turret and double-tool cross slide.

The lathe is equipped with a lever-operated 5C collet spindle as standard.

The 3 HP vector drive motor gives variable spindle speeds to 4,000rpm.

The CP27EVS is a high-speed finishing that takes up very little space and can accompany many CNC turning machines, allowing second operation and back finishing work to be carried out by the CNC operator.

The 1 HP motor gives variable speeds 50-4,000rpm to the 5C lever-operated collet spindle.

The hardened and ground rigid dovetail bed is equipped with a lever-operated double tool slide or a two-axis compound slide.
