Lee Products has introduced a miniature, medical-grade, stainless steel, cartridge-style, corrosion-resistant check valve specifically designed for installation into plastics that have sufficient elongation, such as nylon, polyethylene, acetal and PEEK. The new CCPI series valve is suitable for medical inkjet printing and other similar micro-hydraulic liquids-handling applications.

CCPI series valve

The new 5.5mm CCPI series valve is only 7.3mm in length, is constructed from 316L stainless steel and features a ceramic ball, which is robust and resistant to aggressive fluids.

The valve features a barbed design that ensures simple, press-in installation and good retention and prevents any by-pass leakage around the valve. It can be installed in either direction, enabling forward- or reverse-flow configurations to facilitate optimal design flexibility. Flow capacity is 20 litres per minute at 200KPa pressure drop.

Key benefits

  • Robust design
  • Good retention
  • No by-pass leakage around the valve
  • 100 per cent performance testing
  • Consistent, long-life performance
