A-1 Technical Training, the training division of Logis-Tech Associates, is offering a distance-learning course on engineering systems, covering mechanical and electrical and renewable energy technologies.

The HND in Engineering Systems programme is a multi-disciplinary award that is fully accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and is recognised worldwide.

It is particularly targeted at those working with little time to spare, those who work irregular hours, offshore workers, night-shift workers and those working in remote locations or overseas. The course can be studied anywhere in the world, at any time, at the student’s own pace.

The course is worth 30 credits and normally takes three to five years to complete. The entry requirement is an HNC in Engineering in a related subject area. On obtaining an HND in Engineering Systems, a student may be eligible for entry into the third year of a B.Eng (Hons) engineering degree programme.
