Master Chemical has introduced Trim Tec OE315 NS, a renewable cutting oil based on vegetable ester, which is formulated for use in heavy-duty machining operations such as deep hole, gun and ejector drilling, as well as small parts turning.

Trim Tec OE315 NS is claimed to contain an extreme-pressure additive package specifically formulated for efficient metal removal without foaming or misting, which is an important feature for difficult drilling.

Designed for universal use, this renewable oil is suitable for cutting hardened steels and stainless steel and is also compatible with yellow metals.

According to Master Chemical, Trim Tec OE315 NS uses high-quality saturated esters and renewable esters, which present no danger of early oxidation, increased viscosity or sticky residues.

Key benefits

  • High flash point, for lower fire risk
  • Minimises foaming and misting
  • Claimed to reduce oil consumption by 25 per cent compared with mineral oil-based products
  • Does not have a strong odour, active sulphur or environmentally restricted chlorine
  • Inherent lubricity of the ester extends tool life
