Laser Components has announced that its intensity and phase modulators can be used with Photline’s range of radio-frequency (RF) drivers to serve applications ranging from laboratory experiments to demanding industrial systems.

The modulators are designed to operate from low frequencies of up to 40Gbps/40GHz and for a range of wavelength windows, including 800nm, 1,060nm, 1,300nm, 1,550nm and two microns.

The RF-connectorised modules include drivers for modulators and RF amplifiers up to 40GHz and specific modules such as D flip-flop and delay lines.

The modulator drivers are intended to feed modulators with an electrical signal exhibiting optimised peak-to-peak voltage, rise/fall time and jitter.
