Mouser Electronics distributes pressure sensors

By Mouser Electronics on 23rd February 2016

Product Details Supplier Info More products

Mouser Electronics has announced a global distribution agreement with Merit Sensor Systems, a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of pressure sensors. Merit’s pressure sensor solutions incorporate the company’s proprietary Sentium technology to provide the excellent operating temperature range and stability required for medical, aerospace, and industrial applications. This agreement adds Merit’s microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) pressure sensors to Mouser’s growing lineup of inertial and environmental MEMS sensors.

The Merit Sensor Systems product line, now available from Mouser Electronics, includes the LP Series pressure sensors for ultra-low-sensing applications, surface-mount MS Series for low- to medium-pressure applications, and TR Series pressure transducers and MeriTREK evaluation kits for high-volume applications in harsh environments.

Sensors in the LP Series are available in uncompensated, compensated analog, and compensated digital output models, and feature 0.15 differential or gauge psi (psid or psig) across an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius. MS Series sensors are uncompensated surface-mount pressure monitoring devices available with ceramic cap or chimney housing and optional gel cover. The sensors offer 15 to 500 psia and 5 to 100 psig over an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.

The TR Series pressure transducers are fully compensated, amplified output pressure sensor packages designed for air, liquid, and gas harsh media compatibility over a broad temperature range (-40 to +150 degrees Celsius). Available in both gauge and absolute pressure reference designs, TR Series transducers require no external components for proper operation in a variety of industrial, automotive, and medical applications. Mouser Electronics is also now stocking the MeriTREK evaluation kit, which provides a testing platform for the included 100 psia TR Series transducer.
