Mouser signs global agreement to distribute nvSRAM products from Anvo-Systems Dresden

By Mouser Electronics on 6th December 2018

Product Details Supplier Info More products

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, today announced it has entered into a global distribution agreement with Anvo-Systems Dresden GmbH, a specialist for non-volatile memory products. Mouser is now stocking Anvo-Systems’ reliable, monolithic non-volatile memory products for a variety of industrial, medical and communications applications, as well as Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as smart meters and building automation systems.

Anvo-Systems’ product line, available from Mouser Electronics, include both parallel and serial non-volatile SRAM (nvSRAM) solutions. The nvSRAMs combine two proven technologies (CMOS-SRAM and SONOS non-volatile memory) into a new technology that is greater than the sum of its parts, creating a product family of fast, reliable, and energy-efficient memories. Based on standard parallel or serial SPI SRAM pinning, with unrestricted internal SRAM functionality, both fast reads and writes can be executed with the same high speed.

The ANV22AA8x parallel nvSRAMs are 1 Mbit devices with a non-volatile SONOS storage element included with each memory cell. The devices offer two modes of operation (non-volatile mode or SRAM mode) and feature unlimited read/write endurance, fast performance with a 25-nanosecond access time, and unlimited RECALL cycles. The ANV32A62x devices are 64 Kbit serial SRAMs featuring a two-wire serial interface (I²C) and a bi-directional data transfer protocol. The low-power ANV32A62 devices are accessed by a two-wire bus, which can support up to four cascadable devices.

Anvo-Systems’ ANV32E61x and ANV32AA1x serial nvSRAM products feature an SPI interface to ensure reliable storage of data in the event of a sudden power drop or when initiated by a command. The ANV32AA1x series includes the standard nvSRAM double memory architecture of two 1 Mbit arrays, and provides fast access and cycle times and unlimited read and write endurance. To ensure high data accuracy, the devices feature dedicated safety features, such as flash memory that stores the data non-volatile, independent from external power supply. The ANVE32E61x series features 64 Kbit serial SRAMs with unlimited RECALL cycles, page and block rollover options, and hibernate mode for low standby current. Each SRAM features a non-volatile SONOS storage element, with automatic data transfer in the event of power loss or any brown out situation.
