Cranfield University is now accepting applications for its MSc in Aircraft Engineering, which it claims will help people meet the further learning requirement for membership with the IMechE or RAeS.

This masters degree in Aircraft Engineering is a part-time programme specifically for employees in the aerospace industry, allowing registrants to continue working while advancing their career and skills.

The full programme takes three years to complete and attendance is only two weeks in February, followed by two one-week modules per year.

Payment is flexible, as the cost is staggered over the three years.

Course contents

  • A major group design project gives students hands-on experience of the entire aircraft development lifecycle from design to manufacture and test
  • An additional piece of individually conducted research typically relates directly to the needs of their sponsoring company
