Flir Systems has introduced Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) — a patent-pending technology for its T450SC and 650DC series infrared cameras designed to assist with the identification of thermal breakdown problems.

Based on the company’s on-board processor, which provides good-quality thermal images in real time, MSX adds visible spectrum definition to infrared images in real time.

The resultant thermal image clarity makes it easy to identify anomalies, allowing more detailed analyses to be carried out and enabling conclusions to be drawn in a split second, according to Flir ATS.
