The Liquiline CM444 and CM448 multichannel transmitters from Endress and Hauser are suitable for the monitoring and control of processes in non-hazardous applications in industries including water and wastewater, chemical and power.

The transmitters accept inputs from up to eight Memosens digital sensors, including nitrate, spectral absorption coefficient, pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, free-chlorine and ion-elective electrode sensors.

The data is transmitted to a control system via 4–20mA analogue outputs or via HART, Profibus or Modbus networks.

Remote access is offered through an integrated web server.

Key information

  • The Liquiline devices automatically recognise any combination of Memosens sensors and begin operating straight away.
  • The devices can be field upgraded at any time to accept additional inputs by plugging in extra modules.
  • Additional outputs can include up to four relay outputs capable of switching 24VAC, 115VAC or 230VAC; these can be used to sound alarms, start or stop cleaning functions or activate a controller.
  • A web server connects to the internet via the CM444 or CM448’s Ethernet TCP port; users can perform remote configuration or access to device parameters.
  • The devices have a backlit graphic display and drop-down menus and display outputs from the built-in data logger.
  • The data logger can maintain up to eight separate data logbooks with 150,000 entries each.
  • The transmitter housings are NEMA4X/IP66/67 rated, leak proof and corrosion resistant.
