NT CADCAM is set to host 10 engineering technology events in June 2011 to showcase the capabilities of the Solidworks 3D CAD software.

The regional events are being held in venues including the Royal Engineers Museum and the Institute for Manufacturing in Cambridge.

The events are intended to give like-minded engineers the chance to network while sampling the design tools that Solidworks has to offer.

Attendees can see how Solidworks could decrease their companies’ manufacturing costs, beat their competitors’ time to market, avoid fit-and-function problems, reduce waste and increase environmental responsibility.

Special guest speakers will be present at limited events, including a representative from the company’s grant funding scheme and local businesses and users of Solidworks supplied through NT CADCAM.
