Optical Surfaces is offering a range of fully enclosed pre-aligned reflective collimators for applications including MTF testing, optical resolution testing, star simulation, MRTD testing and bore-sight alignment and inspection.

High stability and performance is achieved using a zero-expansion off-axis parabola, manufactured to better than lambda/10p-v surface accuracy.

The optics within each instrument are secured by the use of stress-free mounts and come pre-aligned.

The portable, off-axis reflective collimators can be used to replicate a target at infinity without parallax. They can also be used to calibrate other optical devices, to check if all elements are aligned on the optical axis, to set elements at proper focus or to align two or more devices.
