Phoenix Contact offers IP65-rated panel PCs suitable for rough industrial environments

Phoenix Contact has introduced the DL 1000 series of panel PCs for use in rough industrial environments. The IP65-protected PCs are equipped with heavy-duty touchscreens that can be used as operating consoles for machine-related use.

A DL 1000 series panel PC can be installed quickly and easily directly on the machine. Maintenance is said to be easy and performance robust.

Users can select single- or multi-touch displays to suit the application at hand. This also accommodates future machine operating modes such as gesture control.

The 60mm panel PCs are protected by die-cast aluminium housings and are resistant to the ingress of water and dust. Their operating temperature range is -20°C to +55°C, making them suitable for refrigeration systems.
