A team of machine safety experts from Pilz Automation Technology will be on hand throughout the upcoming Total Processing and Packaging exhibition to discuss functional safety-related control solutions, standards and training courses for process and packaging applications in the food, beverage, tobacco, pharmaceutical and other industrial sectors. 

The company — which will be found on Stand G16 at the event — offers complete safety automation solutions for primary, secondary and end-of-line packaging machinery and other related processing machines, regardless of machine or installation size.

Pilz machine safety experts also offer consultancy services ranging from initial plant or machine risk assessment through to engineering, training and in-house support.

Pilz will present a selection of safety products at the exhibition. It will also provide details of its newly developed training courses, which include ‘Safety of Packaging Machinery’, ‘SIL/HAZops’, ‘Atex’ and the TÜV Nord-approved ‘CMSE — Certified Machinery Safety Expert’ course.

Total Processing and Packaging 2013 is due to take place at the NEC in Birmingham on 4–6 June 2013.
