Adlink Technology will present its latest test and measurement application platforms and building blocks at Productronica 2009.

These will include the latest PCI Express cards for diversified imaging systems, such as standard frame grabbers with 1394b or GigE interfaces, 16-bit 40 MS/s PCI/PXI digitisers for direct medical imaging sensor interfacing, and 100MHz 32-bit flexible digital I/O boards for imaging sensors with on-board ADCs.

Adlink will demonstrate a range of products, ranging from general-purpose testing, imaging, machine vision and material testing.

The most eye-catching products include Adlink’s high-speed digital I/O card, the PCIe-7350; Adlink will demonstrate it interfacing with CMOS image sensors.

Such a high-speed digital I/O card with flexible timing and trigger modes for the high amount of image data and higher pixel clock rates is the ideal solution for directly streaming digital image data from CMOS image sensors, especially as CMOS image-sensor resolutions continually increase.

Adlink will also exhibit its Matrix C series, a fanless rugged controller with configurable PCI and PCIe slots.

The Matrix C series features a cableless structure, a -20 to +70C operating temperature range and a tolerance of 5Grms vibration.

This series of controllers is suitable for a variety of applications and for use in operating environments that require reliability, robustness and long-term availability.

Adlink can provide a full spectrum of frame grabbers in vision interfaces, such as analogue, Firewire, GigE vision, and Camera Link interfaces, which are compatible with a wide assortment of cameras from different vendors in the market.

The combination of high-speed digitisers and 24-bit data acquisition enables material-testing industries to step up to the next level.

For ultrasound non-destructive testing, higher spatial resolution can be achieved with Adlink’s new PCI-9846 digitiser.

For load-cell destructive material testing, the faster 24-bit PCI-9524 data acquisition card provides better dynamic-analysis capabilities.

Adlink will also showcase its newly developed USB-3488A, a cost-effective IEEE-488 GPIB to USB controller that cuts the cost of interfacing instruments.
