GAO RFID has released a 13.56MHz handheld Bluetooth RFID reader designed for use in applications such as access control, item or people tracking and security systems.

The RFID reader has a compact size and provides USB and Bluetooth connection options to allow it to be integrated into many different RFID systems.

The high-frequency RFID reader, model 223013, is compatible with ISO 14443, Mifare A, Philips ICODE I and ISO 156993-13.56 transponders.

It features single-button RFID reading, two configurable LEDs and a built-in antenna.

It has a data rate of 26kbps for ISO 15693 standard or 106kbps for ISO 14443.

It has a Class 2 Bluetooth interface and an IP64 protection rating, enabling it to function in harsh environments.
