Saelig has introduced Signal Wizard 3.0, an audio signal processor, which, featuring multichannel synchronous processing, can be used to mix, amplify, filter, delay and adjust the phase of individual input signals that have been selected using the included PC software.

Featuring a 24-bit, 96kHz codec with six analogue input and eight analogue output channels, Signal Wizard 3.0 software is claimed to require no knowledge of mathematics or programming to use.

The company claims the software has ‘very powerful’ mixer functions, which allow any channel to be blended with any or all of the other channels in any proportion, thanks to the system’s incorporation of mixer units at the input and output signal stages.

Although originally developed for teaching environments covering DSP principles and practical applications, Signal Wizard software is also suitable for a variety of engineering tasks, including audio and sensor signal processing and conditioning; education and research in electrical, electronic and other physical sciences; signal and vibration analysis; crossover networks; multichannel filtering; surround-sound processing; inverse filters; adaptive filtering; echo; mixing; real-time gain control; phase delays; sound focusing and beam forming; time delays; real-time FFT and waveform capture; quadrature signal processing; Hilbert transform; and envelope detection.
