Norwin’s IMDC range of low-voltage brushless servo drives for 24-48V battery-operated systems is suitable for mobile storage and retrieval, guided ground vehicles and portable machinery systems.

The compact modules are said to provide power and control for battery-operated servo systems where mobility is important.

The available operating modes are torque, speed, position and stepper (pulse input, direction).

Advanced motion functions in position mode include S profile, gearbox, cam profiles, cam boxes, synchronisation, registration and PLC.

Control functions are achieved via a built-in motion controller and PLC that offer high-speed control loops for the current, speed and positioning of motors with resolver feedback.

The IMDC also offers high-resolution analogue inputs of 12 bits and 16 bits and digital input/output with the option for Canopen and Modbus RTU fieldbus modules.

Setup tools enable system engineers to configure the system and write programs that can be saved on an optional plug-in memory stick for security.

The IMDC range offers three device functions in a single unit and provides a compact and practical 24-48V solution for brushless servomotor systems.
