Servopro FID unit accurately measures hydrocarbon

By Servomex on 17th November 200915th December 2015

Product Details Supplier Info More products

The Servomex Servopro flame ionisation detector (FID) offers a sensing capability and remote connectivity for users who need accurate hydrocarbon measurement in a single unit.

Utilising a high-performance, low-noise FID subsystem and a logarithmic amplifier that decreases drift and thermal noise, the FID offers accurate measurements and clean operation with a 100ppb resolution.

With all flow electronically regulated and temperature regulated, the system offers a Lock Range facility to allow the operator to fix the unit within a desired range, as well as an automatic ranging feature that changes the measurement parameters according to the impurities it detects.

The FID offers full Ethernet and internet connectivity.

Capable of being remotely controlled via a network or an internet browser, operators are able to check all parameters or troubleshoot the unit offsite.

The FID can also be configured to be monitored via a standard 4-20mA output to transmit process values to a remote system.

Operation is facilitated by a user interface, enabling users to view values including real-time measurements and system status.

The unit includes diagnostic options that allow engineers to obtain operation information, including calibration parameters, PID constants, Ethernet parameters and alarm historic data with date and time.
