The Wireless Tilt System (WTS) from Sherborne Sensors is designed to provide surveyors, geotechnical specialists, manufacturing managers and structural engineers with a complete measurement solution that is able to record and log data remotely without the cost and complexity of traditional wired methods.

The WTS is said to be extremely robust, maintaining precision accuracy and operating in all weather conditions. It offers a distortion-free digital two-way telemetry system. Multiple devices can operate across 16 channels, each capable of supporting up to 200 data packets per second.

At the centre of the system is the WTS wireless inclinometer, which uses an advanced MEMS sensor to ensure accuracy and reliability. Various complementary basestations and PC or handheld data acquisition modules are also available to deliver a complete measurement solution configurable to any type of structural health monitoring application.

The WTS can be used to verify design calculations during the manufacture of new structures, providing valuable data for refining computer models of structural behaviour, as well as to optimise the setup time for new and complex manufacturing lines.
