SICK will showcase the latest additions to its range of sensing solutions on Stand 5521 at the Total Processing and Packaging show, which will take place at the NEC in Birmingham on 25-27 May.

The company will launch a range of sensing solutions at the show, including new radio-frequency-identification (RFID), flow and barcode sensors.

At Total Processing and Packaging, SICK will expand its industrial instrumentation offering into the flow-sensor market for the first time, with the launch of the FFU inline flow measurement sensor.

The FFU uses modern ultrasonic flow measurement principles to deliver flow and volume measurement for conductive or non-conductive fluids.

The company will also unveil the UP56 ultrasonic non-contact level sensor, which is designed for use in pressurised and non-pressurised vessels.

With an operating range of up to 5m, it is suitable for sensing aggressive fluids, heavy contamination and abrasive bulk material.

SICK will launch the CLV6 series of barcode scanners, designed to deliver product security and to ensure that the code packaging matches its contents.

The CLV6 series delivers high read rates at fast speeds.

The configurable host string reduces network traffic to a minimum, allowing multiple scanners to be installed on an Ethernet IP network into a PLC.

Visitors to the show will be able to preview the latest addition to the company’s RFID range, with the introduction of its RFH620 for intralogistics.

SICK will also showcase the ICR845 code reader for long-range applications.
