Dynamic Systems has announced the launch of a low-cost ERP software suite for small to mid-sized fabricators.

The Checkmate Suite includes job costing, inventory and tool tracking.

The software is designed to provide the fabrication company with up-to-the-minute information to maximise profits.

Checkmate Stockroom is a complete inventory system.

It tracks raw materials and finished goods using barcode technology.

Receive inventory items by the ‘case’ but issue by the ‘each’.

Use multiple units of measure for liquids (quart/ounce), sheets of materials (sq inches/sq yards), or track each item individually.

Checkmate allows the user to create sales orders and automatically convert them to manufacturing orders.

The manufacturing order includes a full build of materials – inventory items, tasks and any special tools, dies or moulds required to complete the job, as well as an estimated time to complete.

This manufacturing order is then tracked through the production process using barcode technology.

Upon completion of each task, labour hours and raw materials are recorded to the order.

At the final completion of the build, the raw materials inventory is back-flushed out of stockroom and the cost of the job is completed.

With the integration of Toolroom-Tool Tracking, Checkmate is able to not only provide a list of tools/moulds/dies required for a job, but to track the history and condition of these unique items.

In the Toolroom Maintenance Module, any required calibration dates, die sharpening or other maintenance requirements can be recorded and scheduled, thus eliminating lost time in manufacturing due to poor maintenance of the tool.

By streamlining the manufacturing process, eliminating costly delays and providing up-to-the-minute information regarding the job in process, Checkmate can increase the efficiency of the process and provide information for management.
