JW Winco’s latest range of square spring latches — the GN 722.2 series — feature a flange for surface-mounting and are suitable for use in dirty or dusty environments and applications where less precise positioning and locking is required.

The latches are used in situations when the indexing pin needs to be retracted.

They can be loaded from any direction and have a safety factor of four and are RoHS compliant.

The GN 722.2 series have a flange with two holes for mounting that can be used with metric DIN 933/931 hex cap screws or DIN 912 socket cap screws. Potentially, equivalent inch size screws may also be used.

Key product features

The indexing pin retracts by turning the latch up the cam slope by 180°, a lock notch can hold the latch in both positions.
The guide body is manufactured from steel with either a zinc-plated or black textured finish.
The latch and plunger pin are made from zinc plated, blue passivated steel.
The spring latches are available with the latch position either right-angled or parallel to the mounting holes.
