Teseq has expanded its broadband amplifier line to include a Class A linear and low-distortion model that operates from 10kHz to 400MHz with a rated power level of 260W. Designed for use in commercial or in-house EMC test laboratories, the CBA 400M-260 is suitable for automotive, military and aerospace bulk current injection (BCI) applications that require testing at higher levels.

The CBA 400M-260 uses gallium arsenide (GaAs) integrated circuit technology to provide better compression characteristics and increased efficiency compared with silicon-based power amplifiers.

The new amplifier is designed for demanding EMC testing environments with non-ideal load conditions due to mismatch caused by the coupling device or equipment under test (EUT) in an antenna’s path.

The CBA 400M-260 features harmonics better than -20dBc at 210W output and has an operating temperature range from 0º to +40ºC (+32ºF to +104ºF).
