Teseq has launched a 200A three-phase burst-pulse coupling/decoupling network (CDN) for electrical fast transient (EFT) and burst testing. Typical applications include large machines, appliances and smart-grid systems.

The CDN 3083-B200 is designed to handle high inrush currents and pulse-shaped peak currents, making it suitable for testing high-current and high-power equipment.

The compact and lightweight CDN injects fast burst pulses — up to 8kV (5/50nsec, 50Ω) — into the supply lines of the equipment under test (EUT).

It can be used with an EUT supply of up to 690VAC, either line to line or line to ground, or up to 1,000VDC, line to line or line to ground.
