Measurement technology firm Testo has introduced the adaptable 876 and the lightweight 882 to its range of thermal imaging cameras, suitable for thermographing dangerous zones in industrial systems.

Testo 876, the manufacturer’s first thermal imaging camera in a classical camcorder design, weighs just 900g and comes equipped with a rotatable display.

Because the display can be rotated up to 180 degrees, it is possible for the user to work the device above their head.

This enables difficult-to-access areas to be thermographed from different angles for maintenance and servicing applications in both building and industrial applications.

Exchangeable lenses ensure optimum attention to detail.

Alternatively, the 882 is Testo’s first thermal imager with a 320 x 240 pixel detector, to deliver accuracy without the necessity of an exchangeable lens.

Equipped with a 32deg lens, this model offers the user all image details at a glance, enabling quick, uncomplicated and precise work.

Its infrared images allow miniscule faults, in difficult-to-access places or dangerous zones in industrial systems, to be identified from a safe distance.
