TME has announced that it is now a distributor for Ducati, a manufacturer of alternative current capacitors designed for application in electric motors and lighting lamps.

The company is offering polypropylene capacitors of the 4.16.10 series, which are characterised by their durability and reliability and are available in a range of capacities and versions.

The capacitors are wound up from the polypropylene film with vacuum-plated thin-layer electrodes.

The film is sealed by means of polyurethane resin.

The capacitors take the form of a cylinder with dimensions from 25mm in diameter and 49mm length to 55mm in diameter and 117mm in length, closed in plastic non-flammable case.

The devices are designed for screw mounting (M8 screw) and are available with various types of terminals, including 6.3mm push-on connectors or leads.

Due to their structure, the capacitors are characterised by relatively small dimensions and weight, and a tight seal (IP55 version with cable).

The 4.16.10 series capacitors have the VDE, IMQ and ASE certificates confirming their conformity with the EN 60252-1 standard.

The devices of 2-40uF and 45-60uF capacity meet the requirements of the B-Class of this standard for rated voltages of 425VAC and 400VAC respectively.

They have an expected lifetime of 10,000 hours.

All types of these capacitors are characterised by +/- 5 per cent tolerance and in the standard version are designed for operation under frequencies 50-60Hz and under temperatures from -25C to +70C.

Due to small value of inductance, they have a low loss factor tand that does not exceed 0.002 at +20C.

The insulation voltage is factory tested (two-second test) and between the capacitor’s terminals is at least twice higher than rated voltage, and is at least 3kV among terminals and the case.

TME is also offering the 4.16.17 series of Ducati capacitors, distinguished by a higher rated voltage of 475VAC and an expected lifetime of 10,000 hours.

Transfer Multisort Elektronik

The Transfer Multisort Elektronik Company was created in 1990 as a little shop run by the family and dedicated to sales of a wide assortment of electronic elements for service and small production purposes. Two years later, we took up the mail-order sale of components. We also started delivering catalogues providing information about products in our offer, which was the innovative practice in these times.

Now TME is the biggest electronic components distributor in central and eastern Europe. We supply several thousands of companies in more than 50 countries and we send almost 2,000 packages a day. Among offered products you will find goods of the majority of significant electronic components producers.

Our staff includes several dozen engineers specialised in the field of electronics and electromechanics, as well as automation consultants ready to support you.
