Ion Science has launched the TVOC System Plus, an environmentally sealed, continuous monitor with a photoionisation detector and integrated pump for rapid detection of volatile organic compounds.

TVOC System Plus is a fixed, continuous area monitor designed for installation in a safe, non-hazardous environment.

The integrated pump allows a gas sample to be drawn from a remote location as far away as 30m.

The pump can be accessed quickly and easily, allowing for simple maintenance and repair.

TVOC System Plus is environmentally sealed to IP66 to effectively protect it from rain, dust and contamination.

The instrument’s 4-20A analogue output allows TVOC to be integrated into a DCS control system to give warning or control of high VOC levels within the environment.

TVOC System Plus utilises Fence Electrode PID technology, with increased resistance to humidity and contamination effects.

Target industries and applications for TVOC System Plus include; manufacturing and processing plants, refineries, petrochemical, offshore, chemical, wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical, indoor air quality, pulp and paper, solvent recovery systems, and industrial painting and coating.

The instrument is available from Ion Science and its global network of distributors, along with an exclusive range of accessories.

Ion Science manufactures and distributes a unique portfolio of technologically advanced gas detection equipment.

The range comprises of hand-held and fixed photoionisation detection (PID) instruments with a detection range of ppb to 10,000 ppm for volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) and other toxic gases. Also available are leak detectors for the detection of SF6 gas in high voltage switchgear and fixed or roaming corrosion monitors for the detection of hydrogen flux in steel pipes. Ion Science instruments are suitable for a wide range of industries and applications that include environmental, landfill, brownfield, petrochemical, first response, industrial safety and confined space entry.

Products are available through a global network of distributors. The company delivers a range of service options to customers designed to provide a full calibration, maintenance and repair service for all Ion Science instruments. Custom built facilities are located at Ion Science, or through a network of Authorised Service Centres around the globe.
