Meco Shaft Seals has introduced the OFS single-face seal for horizontal shaft mixers processing food, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals.

The OFS seal is designed to speed cleaning between batches and can be quickly cleaned on the machinery to eliminate bacterial growth, cross-batch contamination and allergen exposure.

The seal tolerates axial shaft motion and 1/4in diametric run-out.

Its simple cleaning process also eliminates the expense of frequent packing changes when switching process materials.
