Vodex is offering dust and fume-extraction systems, as well as solvent-extraction systems, to many different industries in which there is potential for operators to be exposed to toxic, harmful, irritant or corrosive chemicals and fumes at work.

According to Vodex, the UK’s Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has issued a new directive, HSG258 — Controlling airborne contaminants at work: A guide to local exhaust ventilation (LEV), which highlights the importance of fume extraction.

The company claims fume-extraction equipment can take many forms and it is important to select the correct type for the application, whether it in electronics manufacturing, hospitals or beauty salons.

Vodex’s latest range of fume extractors are designed for extracting the fumes within nail salons, such as EMA solvent fumes and dust.
