It was the largest industry-wide survey of its kind and over 4000 of you took part, feeding into a piece of work that has helped guide our coverage of an issue that’s always close to engineers’ hearts.

The 2015 survey provided some startling statistics: 41 per cent of those taking part were considering a change of job, one third felt they weren’t paid enough, and engineers working in the oil and gas sector enjoyed the highest salaries and the highest levels of job satisfaction.

As with last year, not only will your feedback make a valuable contribution to our ongoing coverage of this important issue, but your answers will also be fed into our online salary benchmarking tool, which you will be able to use to see how your salary compares with that of your peers.

The full results of the 2016 Salary Survey, which we are running in partnership with engineering recruitment specialist Matchtech, will be revealed in June 2016.
